Discover is offering an unlimited dollar-for-dollar match of all the cash back you’ve earned at the end of your first year. This means you will be getting the double the cash back in one year. You can earn five percent cash back at certain retailers throughout the year including grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and more. Your cash back will never expire and there are several options in redeeming it.

You can deposit cash back directly into your bank account, apply it as a statement credit on your Discover card balance, or use your rewards when checking out at Amazon or Paypal. There’s plenty of opportunity to earn cash back since the Discover Credit Card is accepted by 99 percent of places across the country.

United Explorer Card

Bonus Offer: Up to 70,000 bonus miles plus an additional 10,000 bonus miles.

Fine Print:

The more you spend, the more you’ll earn using the United Explorer Card. You can receive 60,000 bonus miles after spending $3,000 during your first three months. And if you spend a total of $6,000 in the first six months, you’ll receive an additional 10,000 bonus miles.

It’s easy to earn miles. You can get two miles per dollar spent at restaurants, hotel accommodations, and United purchases. You’ll earn one mile per dollar spent on all other purchases. Being a cardholder makes you eligible for travel perks such as a free first checked bag, priority boarding, and 25 percent back on United inflight purchases.

American Express Blue Cash Preferred Card

Bonus Offer: Earn $250 back.

Fine Print:

You can earn $250 back simply by making your necessary purchases. American Express will give you $300 back after spending $3,000 in purchases using the Blue Cash Preferred Card in the first six months. The Blue Cash Preferred Card also allows you to earn up to six percent cash back.

You can earn six percent cash back at supermarkets or on select streaming subscriptions. Plus, earn three percent cash back on Transit at gas stations and one percent cash back on all other purchases. In fact, you could get $195 cash back per calendar year just by spending $125 every two weeks at U.S. supermarkets.

Chase Sapphire Preferred

Bonus Offer: 60,000 bonus points.

Fine Print:

Chase has a points program that new customers can take advantage of. You can get 60,000 bonus points simply spending $4,000 on the Sapphire Preferred card in the first three months after the account is opened. That points value is equal to $750 in travel when you redeem through the Chase Ultimate Rewards program.

Cardholders can make the most of their credit card with a one-to-one point transfer to leading airline and hotel loyalty programs, receiving five times the points on Lyft rides, up to $60 back on a Peloton membership and more.
