Featuring the iconic Xtronic nameplate, the Rogue’s continuously variable transmission system is tuned for dynamic driving. The Sport Mode Shifter optimizes the ratios in the signature gearbox. When rolling on a FWD system, the 2020 Rogue base trim has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The Intelligent AWD system reduces the city and highway gas mileage by one mpg.

Integrated into the Xtronic CVT, the Eco Mode plays a vital role in optimizing the fuel efficiency of this Nissan crossover. A drag coefficient of 0.33 is another parameter that’s closely related to the vehicle’s impressive fuel economy.
